Our story

Our story

Built here, for here.

The 2510 Chew Street is a boutique executive office and co-working space in the heart of Houston's historic Fifth Ward.

The building

A Bible college that went back to work.

Sixteen thousand square feet that spent decades as a place of study, now rebuilt as a place of enterprise. The bones stayed; the purpose changed.

Inside are private offices, conference rooms, co-working areas, hot desks, a podcast studio, a wellness room, and the shared floors between them where most of the useful conversations actually happen. It was designed for startups, non-profits, creatives and community organizations, people who need a professional address and a real room to think in, without a commercial lease standing in the way.

Fifth Ward is one of Houston's six historic wards and has been a neighborhood for more than a century and a half. The 2510 was not dropped into it. It was built out of it.

Our vision

"The 2510 was created to support the people and organizations shaping the future of Houston's historic Fifth Ward."

The space exists as a catalyst for economic opportunity, through entrepreneurship, collaboration, creativity and innovation. That means the room rate matters, the day pass matters, and who feels welcome walking in matters just as much as the Wi-Fi speed.

A neighborhood keeps its character when the people who live in it can also build in it. That's the whole idea.

Our sponsor

Fifth Ward Community Redevelopment Corporation.

The 2510 is sponsored by Fifth Ward CRC, whose mission is to build and preserve an inclusive Fifth Ward community by creating opportunities to live, work and play. The 2510 is the "work" in that sentence.

Fifth Ward CRC has spent decades developing housing, commercial space and community assets in the neighborhood, from St. Elizabeth Place to the Lyons Avenue Renaissance Festival. This building is part of that longer project.
